How We Transformed A Dull, Zero Traffic Web Site
Into a Profitable Internet Marketing Tool

Five years ago, our web site was probably a lot like yours. As a new small business, we focused exclusively on writing the best software for our clients. We assumed business would just start coming our way, simply because we were more skilled and did a better job than the other guy.

We looked around at other web sites and made ours just like everyone else’s, thinking we would model our site after existing “successful” businesses. And just like everyone else, we told the world about our company and processes, talking all about the technical details about what we do... And we waited...

Then we started to notice something strange. We just weren’t getting any visitors to our website.

Lesson One: A Web Site Does Not Attract Traffic on Its Own

We invested hundreds upon hundreds of hours researching and testing ideas for drawing traffic to a small business web site. And the visitors arrived… in droves. For a while, our site attracted more traffic than 99.8% of all other sites, (ranked 38,000 out of 5 million according to Alexa.com).

But still, for some reason, even with all those visitors to our website, it failed to drive any new business our way. Then, it hit us – when we modeled our site after everyone else’s, we failed to realize...

Lesson Two: Most Websites Are Not Profitable

According to Kevin O'Connor, the Chairman and CEO of DoubleClick, a vast majority of websites simply cost more money to develop and maintain than they bring in.

Your website’s success depends on the balance of four crucial elements that few web design, web programming, or internet marketing firms truly understand. Missing any one of these elements, your website will simply fail to perform.

Lesson Three: You Don’t Want a Web Site

Since web sites, as most people build them, lose money - do you still really want a web site? After creating a number of profitable web sites, we’ve noticed an interesting trend. It seems that small business operators don’t really want a web site at all. Instead, what you really need is an Internet marketing sales tool that makes your business more profitable. You want that sales tool to:

  • Attract More Clients,
  • Reduce Costs of Doing Business,
  • Improve Customer Service, and
  • Generate Goodwill in your community.

Lesson Four: You Need a Solid Internet Marketing Strategy

Building your internet marketing sales tool demands more than just a good product, graphics, and web traffic. It requires a solid Internet marketing strategy. Beyond the essentials, a solid internet marketing strategy consists of the following:

  • Strong marketing direction focusing your internet marketing on your most responsive prospects
  • Search engine optimization bringing highly targeted traffic to your web site from the world’s largest free traffic sources
  • An effective message captivating readers and compelling them to take action
  • Web programming to
    • test, track, and tune your marketing efforts
    • capture prospect information
    • deliver promotional materials without taking up your time
  • Interactive marketing bringing visitors back again and again
  • Web site design integrating all of these factors into a complete internet profitaility tool

We have laid out the steps necessary to reproduce what required years to learn in a complete internet marketing system we call our “Four C Web Marketing System”™. And you will learn exactly how we make this happen.

But first, you'd probably like to hear if this stuff really works. Don't take our word for it, listen to what some of our clients have to say:

“Instead of having to cold call, for the first time ever, prospects have been calling on a regular basis, simply because they found us on the web...”
