History

In 1998, Envision Software, Inc was formed by a team of IT professionals interested in making a difference in the way software was designed.

Envision's President, Teri Russell, projected the growth of demand for, but lack of available, skilled resources that is currently experienced in the IT marketplace. This continuing trend presents progressively complex issues for companies trying to develop and release software in this rapidly evolving world of software.

The founders of Envision compiled their successful actions and habits into an Object Oriented Analysis and Design methodology. Initially, only the most cutting edge projects experienced this new methodology.

Envision recruited the software engineers and architects whose talents were noteworthy. The methodology fundamental to the success of Envision evolved as more robust, efficient, and eventually generally accepted in the development community as a viable Object Oriented methodology.

Our clients range from packaged software developers who outsource core product development to Systems Integrators and consulting firms who outsource overflow work to companies with domain expertise.  Outsourcing design and development to Envision allows these companies to focus on their core competencies, such as software innovation, instead of the details of requirements gathering, hiring, firing, training, development, and documentation.
